Which is a method of transmitting pathogens from one host to another by carrying microorganisms inside the body and hosting their survival until transmission has occurred? Give to two disease-specific examples.

The method of transmitting pathogens can be in different ways, they are

1. contact transmission,which include direct and indirect contact of the pathogen

2.Vehicle transmission, which include air born, water born, and food born

3.Vector transmission , which include mechanical and biological transmission.

In biological vector transmission, the pathogen enter in the vector from an already infected host through a blood meal(bite) and undergoes part of its development cycle and multiply inside the vector, then transmitted to another host when the vector bite the uninfected host. The pathogen will enter into the host and cause infection. Here, the vector acts as a reservoir of the pathogen and hosting their survival in the body until transmission.

Thus the answer is transmission of pathogen through biological vectors in vector transmission
