Swiss culture is a blend of wide range of traditional customs and diverse culture.Switzerland is famous for its banking, Chocolate,watches and army knives.
Diet: Main food items in Swiss diet include bread, margarine, eggs, cheese, and cold cuts. Lunch usually will be a hot meal and dinner may be a cold meal. Lunch break (12- 1) is an important time for swiss people to rest and relax. Evening time is time of fruits or a pastety. Dinner usually includes variety of cheeses, cold cuts, Swiss bread and in winter time hot soup.
Dress: Western or European dressing is followed in Switzerland also.Casuals are the main selection of swiss youths. Tea shirts and pants, dark suits with ties for men. women prefers long sleeved jackets,shirt or blouse with skirts. Traditional female costume at Switzerland also includes caps with lace that is in silver or golden colour.
Religion: It is a Christian country.38% of population are Roman Catholic. Remaining are protestant/ evangelical group and others( Muslims - 4%). Swiss people can believe in any religion, they have the freedom of religion.
