I think in India people spend more money on medicines rather than other substances.Because , number of people who fell down with different types of disease are getting increased day by day.so,givernment need to spend more money to provide adequate medication on free of cost.Most if the people spend to get better treatment facilities as it cannot be granted from government hospital s.
