a. Required medication = required dose $\times$ available volume $\div$ available dose

                                      = 700 $\times$ 1.2 $\div$ 500

                                      = 1.68 ml or 1.7 ml

To administer 700 mg of Cefadyl 1.7ml of injection is needed every 6th hourly.

b. For 24 hours we administer 4 times, that is 1.7 $\times$ 4 = 6.8 ml in 24 hours

c. Cefadyl 700 mg $\times$ 4 times = 2800 mg in 24 hours
