Answer #1

False. The Affordable Care Act of 2010 had connection with the closing of hospitals in the United States in recent years.

It was seen that more than 68 hospitals or about 4 percent of rural hospitals have been closed since 2010 because of this act. This act wants the hospitals to have better healthcare facilities in terms of cleanliness, equipment which give accurate results, etc in order to provide better health to patients.ACT aims to provide health insurance to those with the less income by subsidizing the cost and also by providing better health care facilities. The rural hospitals cannot meet these requirements hence rural hospitals have shut down.
