Dementia is a neurological problem associated with cognitive dysfunction. The patient may be easily triggered to anger and there are high chances for escalation. De-escalation procedure is a technique to lower the anxiety, emotions, anger ,aggressiveness of a dementia patient. This can help by

  • preventing any physical injury to patients and others.
  • This can calm down their aggressiveness.
  • It can promote them to get diverted and focus on other aspects and reduce escalation
  • Can enable them to think and progress.
