A person in need of an organ transplant has the right to obtain that transplant. An organ transplant is when a viable organ is removed from one person and placed in a person who needs it. Choosing who has priority when it comes to receiving an organ transplant is difficult. This is especially difficult when there are more people who need transplants than there are donors. This means that people who need transplants have to be put on a waiting list. Factors that go into prioritizing waitlists are; how well the person matches with the organ, blood group and if they are sensitized with high antibody levels (from prior failed transplants, blood transfusions, and or pregnancies), and how many donors are available in the local area (National Kidney Foundation, 2017). Some patients wait longer on waitlists due to ABO (blood type), O has the longest wait, this is because O blood types can only receive organs from a patient with blood type O. The factors that may affect a persons transplant candidacy altogether would be; serious heart disease, not being healthy enough to survive an operation, active infection, obesity, and smoking or substance abuse (National Kidney Foundation, 2017).
Answer: Organ transplantation is a process which includes the replacing the damaged organ from one's body and transplanting healthy organ from the donor. It is a difficult process as every person is not able to get the transplantation as there is a long waiting list and the patient that is in the urgent need of the transplantation gets the procedure done.
The organ transplantation depends upon many factors as blood transfusion, blood group etc. This is because the patient having O blood types can only get organ transplanted with the O group blood.
Here the question comes that the organ is transplanted but there is a long waiting list and preferable patients are given first priority. What if there are people at the same time need urgent transplantation? For this purpose how the healthcare professionals or the department will consider that which patient's should be provided first preference? And what if the patient's condition gets more worse?

please critique this post and ask one question relating to this post Organ donation is a process described as “surgically removing an organ or tissue from the one person and placing it into another person” (Flaman, 2018). This is a very complicated procedure and not everyone who needs a transplant is guaranteed one. Some ethical issues that arise with organ transplant are life and death situations, age, and priority of patients. Many times there is a waiting list for candidates...

Scientist have developed gene therapies used to prevent or treat diseases in humans. One of the major theories associated with consequentialist is utilitarian which defines doing good acts that will help produce the most...
