Marketing leaders meet of Fortune 100 companies

summary : The event was scheduled in Boston on Oct 23, 2018. The objective of the event was to discuss the marketing best practices being followed in companies. It was a panel-discussion based event. Majority of the audiences were students from MBA and BBA colleges who wanted to have marketing insights from some of the best Marketing Gurus in the world.

How did I approach the networking event and the contacts: Students from my college were given passes to attend the event. This is how I got entry in the event. After the panel discussion, the audiences were free to interact with their favorite marketing Guru. This is how I was able to meet my potential contacts.

Thing which went well – The panel discussion was quite insightful and some of the latest trends and best practices of the marketing industry were discussed. I made notes of the best practices being discussed, so as to have future reference on them and incorporate them in my final year project.

Thing which could have been better: I had got so excited to meet and interact with the eminent market leaders, that it got the hold of me and I was fumbling while interacting with them. I needed to maintain my calm and capitalize on the opportunity.
