  1. I’ve started my own space program with my son, daughter, and dog called BGIS (Bubble Guppies In Space, my son’s favorite TV show). We quickly have success and BGIS discovers a new planet hiding behind Neptune. Due to it’s hiding skills, it is named Planet Ninja. To learn more about Planet Ninja, we send a probe to the planet to collect a sample. The probe returns to Earth with a 17 kg sample of Planet Ninja’s atmosphere, which turns out to be pure Methane (CH4). The probe collected the sample from the surface, where the pressure was 6.5 × 104 Pa, the temperature was 440K, and g = 7.2 m s−2.

The probe was returned to BGIS headquarters, and the air parcel was experimented on in a laboratory. we first cooled the air parcel isochorically to 310K. Since we did this, 1.2 × 105 kJ of energy was released from the atmosphere. Given all this information, please tell me what the dry adiabatic lapse rate is on Planet Ninja?
