  • Fluroine has Electronic Confrugation- 1s2 2s2 2p5 that means it has 7 valance electrons, now to complete an octet (for maximum stability) Fluroine can gain 1 electron thus devloping -1 charge.
  • Silicon (Si) has the shortest radius because number of protons increases from moving left to right of a periodic table which causes more strong attractions to the electrons thus making the atomic size smaller.
  • KrF2 is linear, central atom has three lone pairs and 2 bond pairs, Rest of the molecules have two lone pairs which cause distortion to the liner molecule.: F-K: f
