Moreover, it is effective in developing a design safety standard for essential electrical utilization systems. However, there are few electrical cords which do not accomplish safeguarding regulations of Subpart S of OSHA. Three flexible cords that are not allowed by subpart S are as follows

• Cords to prevent noise or vibration comes from the transmission process
• Cords which are used to connect stationary equipment to facilitate the frequency of interchange
• Data processing cables which are approved as an integral part of the data processing system

Flexible cords are used in the form of continuous lengths without any proper slice or tap. Thus, it can be connected to specific devices for strain relief.
