Discuss a short (few weeks) and an intermediate (few months) plan fitness goal. Discuss in detail how you would go about your goals. Goals may relate to exercise or dietary plans.

  • My short term goal right now is to pay off my remaining half, car loan.For meeting this goal,I have made a list to increase my savings and lower my costs.Earlier I was traveling every month,and that too spending a good amount of money.Now I travel on a budget,and that too once in two months.
  • I have also cut down on going out to restaurants for dinners and drinking.Earlier it was every weekend,now its almost skipping one weekend and going only on saturdays or sundays.
  • I also buy less grocery rather than wasting money on unneccessary food items which I dont need.I am also saving on petrol,by traveling in my car less and using metro train more.These are small things I have changed to save money to pay off my loan.
  • My long term goal is to lose atleast 10 kgs.Work towards this would start once I pay off my loan because then only I would be able to afford a gym and expensive diet food.
  • Though I have taken small steps towards it,since I spend less on money,so I buy mostly healthy vegetables and less packaged food.Since I am saving fuel,so sometimes I walk to my workplace and even use stairs instead of lifts.The last thing left is gym training and going to a dietician.
  • I have cut down on weekend drinking and eating in restaurants,which is helping me cook healthy meals at home and I have lost almost 1.5 kgs,which is a start.I have adopted a plant based diet to lose weight.
  • I have also started doing some small easy exercises at home by watching videos which is helping me to warm up by body and prepare for gymming.
