ANSWER :

Igf2 gene is located on the short arm of chromosome 11 that makes protein called insulin like growth factor 2. This protein involves in development and growth of different tissues (specially nervous tissue) prior birth or fetal development. Igf2 gene also responsible for expression of parent specific differences in gene activation via methylation of DNA and histones proteins (genomic imprinting).
