agree with the engineer as the molar flux changes as reaction proceeds, in accordance with the moles of A reacted or produced by the reaction so the molar flux is not a constant.

Eg. A gas A diffuses isothermally in liquid B and undergoes an irreversible first-order homogeneous reaction.

Gas A z 0 CA0 Az 2 Absorption of A by B with a homogeneous reaction in the liquid phase K1 is the first order rate constant of the reaction A+B > AB dz
