1. Determine whether or not the following argument is valid or invalid. Show your work, clearly explaining how you determined its validity or invalidity.

THE ARGUMENT:

If you have just cause why these two should not be lawfully wed, you should speak now or forever hold your peace.

If you know that he is still legally married to his first wife, then you have just cause why these two should not be lawfully wed.

You should not forever hold your peace.

You know that he is still legally married to his first wife.

Therefore you should speak now.
