Answer #1

CPU’s power consumption and its capacity, voltage and frequency

There are several factors contributing to the CPU power consumption i.e. dynamic power consumption, short-circuit power consumption, and power loss due to leakage currents. The dynamic power consumed by a CPU is approximately proportional to the CPU frequency and to the square of the CPU voltage. P(dynamic) = CV2f Where C is capacitance, f is frequency, and V is voltage.

Frequency and wave length

The higher the frequency, the shorter the wavelength.

λν=c

Where λ is the wavelength, ν is the frequency and c is the speed of light.

Sine wave as periodic signal

Most basic form as a function of time (t) is:

y(t) = A sin(2πft + ϕ)

Fourier representation of periodic signal

x(t)= (from n=-∞ to ∞)∑xˆn ei2πnt/T

x(t) is a periodic function with period T

Wavelength and size of antenna

Normally it is kept at a height of wavelength/4

Receiving power and distance

Pr = PtGtGr2/(4πd)2)

Gt and Gr are the transmit and receive antenna gains

, λ is the wavelength, d is the T-R separation, Pt is the transmitted power, Pr is the received power

    One of the most important classes of time dependent signals are periodic signals. Periodic signals satisfy tho following signal equations, x(t) X(t) x(t+nt) for n 2,3. The periodic signals to be observed in this laboratory assignment are shown below. In all the examples A represents the amplitude of the signal and may be given as the measurement from 0 to the peak value A, Apk or can be given as the measurement between A and -A which defines a peak-to-peak...

    the list of equations to list are attached! thanks! 6. A playground merry-go-round, i.e., a horizontal disc of radius 3 m that can rotate about a vertical axis through its center, is rotating at an angular speed 1/s (measured, as usual, in terms of radians). The moment of inertia of the merry-go-round with respect to that axis is 3000 kg m? A student of mass 80 kg is standing at the center of the merry-go-round. The student now walks outward...
