How would you define the role of human resources in your organization? What are some of the Trends in Human Resource Management? How has that role changed in your tenure with the company? How do you feel supervisors and managers should share in ensuring human resources practices are implemented effectively? Why?
I have been working in an insurance organization for the last four and a half years although my field of work is information technology and given by the way the organization is operated I believe that the Human Resource organization has played the role of an employee advocate majorly where they have protected the interest of the employees.
The concept of human resource is changing and today organizations expect human resources to play the role of employee advocate along with playing the role of a strategic partner as well as in managing the compliance asoect as well. I believe that the human resource department is actually transforming in the organization I work, although the pace is limited but there is progress and transformation to quite an extent.
Supervisors and managers need to take up the responsibility to ensure that such practices are being taken care of and the HR professionals are easily accessible as well, so that employees can reach out to them in case of concerns and discrepancies as well. In case of instances when this is not happening accordingly, the managers and supervisors can take a note and apply accordingly.

What would it take to derive even greater value from that resource?
The human resources planning model is used to demonstrate how the components of human resources planning are linked to strategic planning. I want you to think about how to define and explain each of the five components of the model in terms of your organization and P-Plan. This is not a required model that you are expected to follow mechanically; rather, it contains some ideas about how to 'model' business planning. The five components are: environmental scanning organizational review policy,...

You must give me at least THREE specific reasons why you believe this is the case. Don’t forget to include citations...
