1) Resistors 1 and 4 are in series, while resistors 2 and 3 are in parallel.

2) R1+R2 = 28 ohms + 14 ohms = 42 ohms

42 ohms is parallel to R3

42*7/(42+7) = 6 ohms

6 ohms + R4 = 6+3 = 9 ohms

3) Req = R2R3/(R2+R3) + R1 = 36*108/(36+108) + 18 = 45 ohms

I = 9/45 = 0.2 A

V1 = IR1 = 18*0.2 = 3.6 volts
