Alpha amanitin has strong affinity towards the RNA polymerase II. So when we eat the mushroom, the alpha amanitin binds to the RNA polymerase II and cause cytolysis of liver cells. The symptoms are usually don't appear for 2-3 days. Diarrhea and cramps are the first sign of symptoms and after 4-5 day the actual effect on liver and kidney starts and lead to the failure if both kidney and liver and this leads to death of the person.
