Answer #1

When we have a very small bulb, a cardboard mask with a triangular hole, and a screen, then we will see on the screen that,

Answer:

If we have the stated arrangements then each spot on the filament of the bulb will be sending out light, so we can view this as a string of small bulbs.

If the light bulb were moved up, what would happen on the screen?

Answer:- if we move light bulb upward then only light shining farther downward can make it through the mask of triangular hole.

If you used two light bulbs, one above the other, what would happen?

Answer:- if we will use two light bhulb one above another then here both the bulbs are the same distance from the hole, so both spots will be the same size as before.

If the triangular mask were placed in front of the bulb extended source, what would you see and why?

Answer:- if triangular mask were placed then the height of the lit region is smaller than before, but more than half as
high because here the top position will be seen at the bottom and bottom position will be seen at the top.
