Answer #1

In the experiment monochromatic source of light has to be made used. Hence He-Ne laser is a source of High monochromatic which gives a single colour wavelength.

Instead of laser if ordinary light source is made used then incident light is not of monochromatic or single colored. The incident light is not of single wavelength. Hence fringe pattern on the screen is with different colours instead of Dark and bright fringes. Hence coloured fringes will be formed on the screen.
