This disease is caused by Staphylococcus aureus. It is not caused by Bacillus cereus because all the descriptions given here are shared by both the bacterial strain except the incubation time. The icubation time for Bacillus cereus is from 6 to 15 hours whereas for Staphylococcus aureus, it is 1 to 6 hours as mentioned above.
