Ans) Marine-dwelling Organism.

They are common in fossils record.

There are little chances of decomposition as they are burried in sediments.

Desert-dwelling orgsnism :

They are rare in the fossil record.

Few are burried in the wet sediments where there is slow chances of decomposition.

Flowers :

They are rare in the fossil record.

As they decompose easily and quickly because flowers are soft.

Recent organisms :

They are common in fossils record.

These are the fossils in which more ancient is likely to be eroded whereas fossils which are recent will intact.
