There are several social, economic, political and cultural factors for high level migration. Push factors are connected with area of origin and pull factors related to area of destination. Pull factors include more jobs, better jobs, high level wages and anticipation about better life, principles of religious tolerance and attractive environment like warm climate. Push factors are overpopulation, few jobs, low level wages, natural disasters, intolerance towards certain cultural group etc.
The immigration policy n Canada was very liberal and majority go on their become the Canadian citizen. The international movement was difficult during the world war period, this increase the level of migration due to lack of jobs. Canada is one of the most important country which invites several Europeans. From 1970s the migrants were the minorities from developing world. Most of the immigrants settled in cities, the service demand increase among the increasing population and there is high depreciation faced during this period. From statistics we can understand there are a large number of irregular migrants can also see. There is immigration policies were formulated regarding this high level migration.
