Mahashaian Di Hatti, popularly known as MDH spices is an Indian company with a history and cultural background. CEO of MDH spices is the founder of the MDH spices company. Dharampal Gulati is an inspirational leader who has the history from rags to riches. His motto was that quitting is not an option to survive led many followers to work hard to be successful in their lives. The steps taken by Spices Company to encourage ethical and responsible business standards are-

                - Personal supervision for grinding. When Dharmpal Gulati examined the mixer grinder to check the quality of the spice grinding, he noticed that they were adulterated. He personally supervises grinding of spices to provide high quality spices.

                - He inspires others by being a role model. Even at the age of 96 years, he is determined to work hard. His commitment and passion for quality spices have inspired their workers too to follow the same foot prints.

                - The increase in sales of chili spices motivated him to maintain quality at all steps of spice production and he cascaded this quality check to his employees.

                - Dharampal Gulati has a penchant for charity which made him to run a trust in his name that has a hospital in-house. The trust also has a mobile hospital exclusively for the slum dwellers. He also has schools run by this trust. He helps the needy. This social responsibility has inspired his employees to be part of his charity work and thus takes up responsible and ethical business decisions.

                - Even at this age, he does not use the luxury of his cabin however he visits factories, markets and the dealers for MDH spices to check that everything is in order for quality assurance.
