Answer #1

1.The direct anterior approach is considered asminimal invasive than lateral approach and therefore, the recovery is easy in the direct approach.

2.The direct approach requires shorter hospitalisation and greater functional rehabilitation than the lateral one.

3. In lateralapproach muscle splitting occurs which is very painful procedure. So, after theprocedure,it is very difficult for the recovery of the patient.as, it has to take lot of time to heal.

4. In the direct approach, the muscle sparing procedure only needed a small incision, Therefore, short stay and less hospitalisation is needed, which makes the recovery more easier.

5. during the recovery, the patient has to be more careful and should take rest for longer days in case of lateral approach, whereas, in direct approach more rest is needed.

Thus, these are the some differences in recovery of the patient.
