do you think that in today's world it is still true but less and less because of technologies of communication? (in other word does our standardized" communications ways moderate the impact of communication behavior)
The impact of communication behavior is the sum of techniques,
skills, methods and processes used to produce goods or services or
to achieve goals such as research. This technology can be knowledge
of techniques, processes and so on, or it can be machine-generated
to allow work without detailed knowledge of their work. A system
(i.e., a machine) that implements technology by taking inputs,
changes them according to system usage, and then generates a result
called a process or operating system.
The simplest form of technology is the development and use of basic
tools. Prehistoric discoveries of fire control and the Neolithic
revolution have increased food availability, and bicycle inventions
have helped people to travel and control the environment.
Historical developments, including printers, telephones, and the
Internet, have reduced physical barriers to communication and
allowed people to interact freely around the world.
Technology has many influences. It helped develop a more advanced
economy (including the world economy today) and allowed for the
rise of the entertainment class. Many technological processes
produce unwanted products known as pollution and depletion of
natural resources that endanger the earth's environment. Innovation
has always influenced social values and raised new questions
regarding technological ethics. Examples include raising the notion
of efficiency in relation to human productivity and the challenges
of biochemistry.
do you think that in today's world it is still true but less and less because...
Do you think that there is more or less communication between people than there was before life revolved around technology? Is it helpful that things are so automated or does it hinder progress? Think about it--do you feel more focused or less focused in school than you did ten years ago? Is it because of technology? Is it because society's acceptable means of communication have evolved? Is it better or worse?
Do you agree with the Hindu description of the Atman or “true self"? Do you think this conception is an attractive one for today's world? Why, or why not?
the ancient world essay in humanity
ONE: The textbook chapter on the Ancient World took us back beyond the dawn of what we call civilization. Reviewing the characteristics we described as defining "civilization" can leave us wondering if those characteristics really have anything whatsoever to do with quality of life or other words with the same root, such as civil and civilized. In what ways do you think human behavior has changed over the centuries with regard to "civilized" behavior?...
Do you believe that sexism, sexual discrimination, and sexual abuse are systemic problems in today's world or can they be viewed and judged on an individual basis as individual problems of certain people? And if one concludes they are systemic problems, does this mitigate the individual responsibility of those who practice it? Or if it is purely an individual problem, how can we explain its prevalence around the world and in so many parts of our own society?
Do you think reform could have worked in the Communist world, while still remaining Communist? How?
In an approximately 500-word response, address the following issues/questions: Many businesses around the world still fail because their capital investment decisions are based upon a calculation on the back of an envelope and do not take any of the correct factors into account. Even larger businesses often get this wrong. This is a true sign of poor resource management. • Do you agree or disagree? • Discuss the alternative methods of investment appraisal and describe the limitations of these to...

What did you learn about the elusiveness of memory and memory construction errors? What do you think? How should therapists guard against false memories while still honoring experiences of the client? How does the memory construction and ways of forgetting impact our daily lives?
Do you think that America still has a long road to travel before racial, ethnic, and religious differences are accepted by our society in general? Why or why not? Be specific; provide examples.
Do you think subjective or cultural relativism is true? In other words, do you think that there is anything, no matter how small or specific, that is universally morally applicable to all humans? Why or why not?
