Compare and contrast one pair from the following concepts: alienation, anomie, and disenchantment. Make sure you define each concept. How are they similar? How are they different? The best answers will use more than one example.

the term 'alienation' means separation. It may be different types of separation. One can be alienated from the community or society.

'Anomie' is a common term in sociology and it suggests the lack of sense about the social norms and culture of an individual.

disenchantment is the deviance from religious rules as well as scientific rules existed in the society.

One can be alienated from the society due to 'anomie' and 'disenchantment'. He then fails to follow the social norms and therefore he is deviated from the society. All are deviation from the surrounding or culture or community.
