Part B is right and has been solved properly .
Part C
Student 1 : Seeing the image big doesnot mean that the object is closer to you in all senses .When the magnification happens image appears bigger without a change in position .As light traveks through the denser medium refraction takes place and hence the image of the pencil looks bigger than the pencil .Infact is doen't mean that the image is closer.
Student 2 : In the method of parallax we cannot take into consideration the refrcation happening when the light passes through glass , through water and then through glass again into air .So by the method of parallax we see the image to be farther than the pencil.
Student 3 : I agree that is right because then the image would not be viewed. We can actually see the image because the image is not formed behind the pencil and infact in front of it .
P.S.if this helped you please like the answer.Thankyou.

The micrographs in this document are from a cross-section of the small intestine. This image is part of the field of view using a 10X eyepiece and a 4X objective, providing a total magnification of 40X. The digital camera image here is approximately 2/3 of the visual field of view, giving an actual magnification of about 60X. What tissues are visible here? For a closer look, change the size of the...
