Can someone explain how Q3 is gotten? It is using the percentile formula! Thanks!
here first we need to sort data in ascending order that will be :4.5,6.9,8.0,8.3,8.5,10.7
now q3 =3/4(n+1)th term
where n=6
hence q3=3/4(6+1)th term
=5.25th term
now hence q3 lies between 5th and 6th term thus we take there average ,
(8.5+10.7)/2
=9.5 mintues

Can someone please explain how to calculate the z-score?
I was using the formula z=(x-mean)/standard deviation, but it keeps
getting marked incorrect.
In the following data setof tire pressures(psi), determine the Z-score of 83. 2447 45 3 52 | 80 83 58 41 | 81 | 49 97 36 86 6 25 93 2 34 70 Z-score = [three decimal places]
