Answer #1

Answer:

Given,

p = 0.52

sample n = 81

Here at 95% CI, z value is 1.96

Margin of error = E = z*sqrt(pq/n)

substitute values

= 1.96*sqrt(0.52(1-0.52)/81)

= 0.1088

= 10.9%

95% CI = p +/- E

substitute values

= 0.85 +/- 0.1088

= (0.7412 , 0.9588)

= (74.1% , 95.9%)
