Answer is option B. Pores and transporters.

Plasma membrane contains pores, channels and transporter proteins which are involved in transportation of molecules from outside to inside of the cells and vice versa. Pores are formed by proteins and pore sizes are fixed for certain molecules. Thus molecules bigger in size than pore diameter, are not able to pass through the pores. Whereas transporter proteins are very selective for molecules. Upon binding with molecules, confirmational changes occur in transporter proteins. These bindings are non-covalant in nature
