Answer #1

Quality of your staff and service is just as important as the quality of your food. Tips to make employees happy and retain in the organization are explained as follows:

• Shift
A flexible work shift allows the restaurant to retain their employees to an extent.Hotels are a 24/7 business, so appoint them in evening or night times. So allow convenient work shift to students according to their free time and convenience. Try to appoint workers other than students for making flexible shift.

• Food accommodation.

Food and accommodation package would attract student employees. They will decide to retain in organiszation only for getting food and accommodation as they are away from home. Providing better food and accommodation makes them more loyal.

• Attractive salary.

A great way to retain employees is providing attractive salary package they deserve. Providing adequate salary helps to avoid frequent turnover . Remember, finding new staffs, training them, and getting them acclimated to your restaurant involves lot of money

• Listen your team.

Employees like to be listened to. It makes them feel that they are valued, and it fosters a sense of loyalty to make them feel invested in the organization.
