In Section 1, the simulation describes how the human body develops an acquired immune response after being first infected by a virus. Describe how the body is able to do this and how it responds upon subsequent infections by the same virus.

Adaptive immune system, also referred as the acquired immune system.it developed during personal life.It is responsible for the destruction of foreign particles once have entered the body.It develops in response to an infection or vaccination. when first time any disease occur, it takes time to make new antibody against that disease .However afterward, the antigen is remembered, and fight against the disease next time.
Immune cells called T and B cells recognize there's an “invader” pathogen and activate the immune system to fight it. So When that virus attack next time for time,acquired” (learned) or specific immune response makes antibodies and uses them to specifically fight certain germs that the body has previously come into contact with. Because the adaptive immune system is constantly learning and adapting, the body can also fight bacteria or viruses that change over time. Here the immune response is much faster than before as the immune system responded before .So the the memory cells will immediately differentiate into plasma cells and CTLs without input from APCs or TH cells.
