There are various methods to control , maintain , losing and gaining the weight such as the intermittent fasting . It is the process that involves fasting at a particular day or time in a day such as 2 days in a week , 12 hours for a week . This technique helps in maintaining the body weight . The tracking of the calorie burnt and calorie intake is the best way for the regulation of the body weight . If the calorie intake is greater than the calorie burnt , it results in increasing the weight of the body , if the calorie burnt is more than the consumption then its results in losing the weight. Eating the food slowly with proper chewing results in the proper assimilation and digestion of the food . The protein is very important for the breakfast . Protein is involved in the regulation of the hunger hormone ghrelin and result in the feeling of a full stomach . Cutting the sugar and carbohydrate from the diet as it results in the increase in the glucose level .
