Answer #1

Note : In series current remain constant.

          In parallel voltge remain constant.

Given,

Three identical resistors connected in series, each with resistance R.

Connected to a battery of voltage, V = 12 V

Equivalence resistance, Req = R + R + R

Req = 3R

Current I = V/Req

I = 12/3R

I = 4/R

Voltage across each resistors, V' = IR

V' = (4/R)R

V' = 4 V

Answer : 4V
