The important practices to improve the motivation, ability, and performance of the new employees are stated below=

  1. It is important for the management to establish the small and measurable goals for the new employees so that they can attain their goals and can strive for better performance and this will also motivate them
  2. The regular training, feedback and evaluation of the performance will help them to improve their skills and performance
  3. The management has to regularly inspire them so that they can put their best on the job
  4. In case there are some drawbacks or non-fulfillment of the goals, the employees must be advised, counseled on the various ways to improve their performance and the manager must provide insight of how they can improve and enhance their skills
  5. The mentor system of guidance will be quite helpful as this will provide the new employees the right direction provided by the senior staff members and thus they will be able to perform better.
  6. Facilitating the work-life balance options, providing the regular rewards and incentives will not only help the new employee to be motivated but this will also result in improved performance
  7. Open communication, transparency, and participation of the new employees will be quite fruitful
