Nowadays, every single individual whether young or old uses the Internet on a regular basis. The Internet has become one of the major sources of knowledge. But there are some contents on the Internet which are.not considered suitable for different audiences. For example explicit songs, pornography, political comments, military censorship i.e. hiding process of military intelligence and tactics, and many more.
So censorship, in simple terms is when an authority (e.g. government or religion) suppresses any activity. This is done because it is considered to be harmful, sensitive, wrong, or inconvenient to the government or other authorities.
Some web contents that should be considered for censorship are the following:
1) Terrorist activities:
Many terrorist activities are operated and telecasts on the internet on various sites and content are really explicit and intolerable so they need to be restricted and banned.
2) Comments:
As we already know the power of the Internet. Some social media sites are used as a prime platform to provoke or influence teenagers, children, or even communities to go against the government. So those comments, statements, or sites which led to such blunder should be considered for censorship.
3) Pornography:
Eve-teasing, rape of minors, and female humiliating activities have taken a huge shape after the incoming of the internet as many implicit or distributing contents on sexual subjects provoke the insane and sick minds to destroy the society and women's existence and this is really a heinous crime. So such content must be banned.
