Why is it important to frame sex work as labor and not just as an extension of patruarchy and global capitalism?

There are number of reasons why framing of sex work as labour is important .Illegal sex work results in numebr of complicaiton to women under the dominating patricarcah lsystem .Below are the resons why making sex work legal is vital at this pint of time

• It will reduce the exploitation and trafficking activities as a legal framework will provide opportunities to women in a formal way .
• It will help in reducing the gender inequality which is prevalent in society . The unorganized labour that most women work leads to this .
• It will help in reducing the gender discriminaton and exploitation which women face. As many of the sex workers are obejctifeid and abused . They are seen as only sex obejcts
• It will portect the rights of ses workers which are most of the time neglected .A legal framework gives them voice to raise their concerns .
• At present women most of the time work in organized and unpaid labour dimensions . Legaliziang sex work will proivde more formal emplyment ot women .
• It will lead to financial inclusion of many unfortunate and suffering women .
• It will also lead to social inclusion of women and wipe off the stigma they face because of the nature of work .
