Discuss what role end-users typically play in incident reporting? Should end-users be encouraged to report suspicious occurrences? Why or why not? Tell me in your own words, please. What factors typically influence the end-user decision to report (or not report) a potential incident?

"Incident-reporting systems (IRSs) are methods of reporting near misses or adverse events to enable organizational improvement."

"End users are the most vital part of an incident report. They are the witnesses of the incident and can provide the most vital information. End users are expected to provide as much detail as possible about the incidents that they observe, as well as to preserve related evidence, and to make themselves available to offer assistance as the incident response progresses."

End users must be encouraged to report incidents as it can play a crucial role to prevent murders, theft, crimes etc.

In todays time when digital world is increasing so fast there may also be threat as some users may misguidedly report incidents that aren't actually happening.

This can further be prevented by implementing laws against such people.

A moral must be build and should be encouraged among people to report the suspicious incidents to make a society better place to live.

This phenomenon can be widely used in medicals facilities to be provided as and when needed yo the earliest. It can be used yo solve and prevent criminal cases as well, although a lot of factors influence the involvement of user.

"Some factors which influence the end-user decision to report (or not report) a potential incident:

● Availability of the incident response team- The availability of the service team influences the end-user in both ways. If the incident report team is responsive, then the users will come to them with their queries.

● Security of end user - People tend to help others if the involvement of any kind of risk is very less towards them. If safety is assured, end user will report the incident.

● No corrupt officers in the response team- If people won't trust the authorities they are reporting to makes it worthless for someone to invest time and efforts"
