The bacteria is being cultured in rosa agar. Rosa agar is a selective media which is selective towards the growth of gram positive bacteria. Therefore, as we see that their is microbial growth, we can conclude that our bacteria is gram positive. The bacteria can be staphylococcus or streptococcus. On carrying out a catalase test, we can choose the correct option. If the catalase test is positive, then it is staphylococcus. If negative, then streptococcus.
