i need help to write about Complementary Alternative nursing interventios to manage pain, anxiety, etc. as an adjunct therapy to medications.

Most of the patients who had illness suffer from pain and anxiety mainly due to hospitalization and physical discomfort . There are many alternative methods are used to treat those 2 conditions.

To manage pain we have to administer analgesics, comfort position and comfort devices to the patient. As alternative methods we can use music therapy and diversional therapy to deviate the patient concentration and thought from pain it will reduce the feeling of pain to a large extent. Then we can provide support to the patient, physical and psychological support provide a strength to the patient to avoid pain.

To manage anxiety we can administer anxiolytics and provide relaxation therapy to the patient. As like pain management we can also utilize the music therapy and involve patient in different activities to avoid the anxious thinkung. Also provide health education and orientation about interventions and hospital environment this is because of anxiety may develop due to the unfamiliar hospital conditions or disease process so proper orientation and health education are important.

Also provide a well balanced diet because of their are alterations present in the dietary pattern of patient due to pin and anxiety.
