2. In question #1 you calculated the Ka value based on the starting pH. During lab, you found the halfway point of the titration curve (where pH pKa) and from this data you could calculate Ka. Do you expect these two Ka values to be different from each other? In other words, does it matter where on the titration curve you calculate Ka? Support your answer using what you know about equilibrium constants.

Ka does not depend on the concentration. The amount of ions produced is proportional to the concentration of the acid. And the equilibrium constant is the ratio of product of concentrations of the ions and the concentration of the acid. Hence if you start with less concentration of the acid you will get less concentration of ions. And the ratio will remain same. Hence, it doesn't matter where you start, you will find the same value of Ka.
