-CD4+THo cells are naive Tcells. It is the antigenic exposure that they make , that determines the cell type that the CD4+ THo cell will differentiate into.

- antigenic peptides are presented to the THo cell by the antigen presenting cell(APC).

- They sense the antigen by theT cell receptor present on the Plasma membrane of these cells.
