Part IIl Prepare and Test Equilibrium Systems 13. Prepare four test tubes of solutions, according to the chart below. Repeat Steps 11 and 12 from Part II to test the absorbance values of each mixture. Record the test results in your data table. Record the [FeSCN in the table in Data Analysis section #3. Note: You are using 0.0020 M Fe(NO3)3 in this test Test tube 0.0020 M Fe(NO3)3 0.0020 M SCN- number (mL) 3.00 3.00 3.00 3.00 (mL) 2.00 3.00 4.00 5.00 H20 (mL) 5.00 4.00 3.00 2.00 2 4.Name: Partners name: Date: Lab Section: For the solutions that you will prepare in Step 2 of Part I below, calculate the [FeSCN2]. Fsht all of the SCN ions react. In Part I of the experiment, mol of SCN FeSCN2+. mol of Thus, the calculation of [FeSCN+] is: mol FeSCN2+ Lof total solution. Record these values in the table below. (from Prelab) Record the absorbance for each of the know solutions in the table below Beaker number(FeSCN2] Absorbance 2 422 xlO 2.0(10: :901 4 ー (blank) 0.00 M 0.00 e 32 Part Il Unknown Unknown number Absorbance Concentration of Fesow . 320 320 Part III Absorbance Test tube number 0.300 0292 o.uar 4

My professor had to cancel lab last week and just sent us the absorbances for the test tubes to do on our own at home but I don't even know how to go about finding any of this information in the table. I know it's it one question per post but I need the formulas to figure these out.

A student made solution #3 using the experimental method in this lab, and measured an absorbance of 0.559. The starting reagents are 2.00 x 10-3 M Fe(NO3)3 and 2.00 x 10-3 M KSCN. The amount of absorption is proportional to the concentration of FeSCN2+. This relationship – true for many solutions – is called “Beer’s Law”, and has the simple equation: A = bc where “A” is the absorption, “b” is 5174.6 for FeSCN2+ and “c” is molarity Make Five...
