Personality refers to the individual differences in characteristic. Personality of each and every person is different from one another. Basically personality includes various parameters like thinking, feeling and behavior. In the organization employees have various personalities and management of the organization have to deal with the individual differences of the people. Personality depends on various parameters.
Some of the determining factors of the personality are given as follows-
1. Family and friends
2. Organization
3. School and college
4. Social groups
5. Environment etc.
Family and friends are known as the primary determinant of the personality. Most of the people act according to the value system of the family. Decisions of the particular person depends on the family background etc. For the personality development individual person depends on various things like school and college and the environment of the individual. In the organization there should be focus on each and every person and management of the company should try to understand the behavior of the individual persons. Decision making power should be provided to the individuals in the organization it will help them to increase their potential in the organization. Organization should take care of the individual difference in the company.
In my opinion some of the ways are given below that can help the organization in the understanding of personality of employees -
1. Focus on the morale of the employees.
2. Value system of each and every employee, should be respected in the organization.
3. In the organization, there should be no discrimination on the basis of personality of employees.
4. Decision making power should be given to the employees.
