Provide an example of a process that you feel is in control but might not be capable of producing the desired quality output.
Being that I work for a robotics automation company, I instantly considered our application engineers when they create quotes for different customers. There have been many instances in which we will randomly get an excessive amount of customers requesting customized quotes for their automating needs. Being that we have a total of 4 sales people, when the sales volume gets high our sales guys tend to put the requests in order of significance. For the customers at the lower end of the list, they may not always get the desired quality quote they were looking for, or it may have taken longer to receive than what they were hoping for due to the influx in volume.
The way we are addressing this issue, is that the marketing department (me) will do consistent follow ups with each customer to ensure that they are valued and that we are in process of fulfilling their need.
