When ATP binds to myosin, actin gets detached from myosin. The ATP is then converted to ADP and inorganic phosphate by ATPase. ATP hydrolysis generates energy and the released energy changes the myosin head angle into a “cocked” position. Myosin in the form of myosin ADP-Pi complex and in a cocked position is now in a high energy state. So, the correct option is option B, When the myosin filament is bound to ADP and inorganic phosphate.
