In calcium fluoride structure, calcium ions occupy the corners and all face-centres of a cubic unit cell whereas fluoride ions occupy the tetrahedral sites of the unit cell.

Number of calcium ions per unit cell 8 corners x ion per corner + 8 6 face-centres x I ion per face-centre 2 1 +3 = 14 ions NCations are ananged in face-centred cubic unit cells.
