This is because demand and price are inversely related. Initially, concerts and recorded music were jointly priced compliments for musicians because increase in demand for concerts would increase the demand for recorded music ; but now they are priced independently as they behave like substitutes i.e, with the increase in demand for recorded music, demand for concerts fall (due to presence of internet).
